These stainless steel compression fittings are resistant to aggressive of corrosive environments and fluid and withstand high temperatures and pressures. They are designed to be used at low and medium pressure
and to withstand water hammer and vibration.
Assembly
The stainless steel compression fitting comprises a body, an olive and a nut.
- Cut the tube exactly square and deburr its outer and inner edges
- Slide the nut onto the tube, without lubricating it (the inside of the nut is silverplated)
- Fit the olive onto the end of the tube
- Push the tube fully home against the shoulder of the body of the fitting
- Tighten unitl the nut is hand-tight
- Final tightrning with a spanner causes the olive to bite into the tube
The Legris stainless steel compression assembly is now ready for use.
